Care to try your luck?
A casino in Monte Carlo is twisting luck in its favor, gaining massive wealth but also endangering its patrons. You and your fellow investigators must steal the source of the casino’s power and put a stop to their nefarious work, but doing so will be no easy task. Will fortune favor the bold? Or will your luck run out?

You will need:
  • Two legal investigator decks built to the specified XP level. Ideally one that has the ability to gain clues easily and regularly or one that can handle themselves against monsters, then your second deck can be whatever you like. The XP level will be updated based on the previous scenarios and shown in the campaign log (google doc link at bottom of page) If you own the scenario it would also be very helpful to bring that. We recommend each player bring an additional deck in the unlikely event we need to 'balance' the groups a little better.
  • A copy of the scenario. This is not important but we only have access to 2 copies so extras will always be required. Please do not be offended if yours aren't used.
  • A set of tokens and chaos bag along with keys, blessed and cursed chaos counters. Again this not important but we will only have access to limited sets.

We will be playing on Standard difficulty.

Standalones are much like regular scenarios however you can spend experience before the scenario like being apart of a larger campaign.
These are ideal for those less likely to be able to commit to a full campaign but enjoy the Arkham Horror experience and for those that want to test some cards before using them for a campaign.
You will need to supply your own tokens, cards and chaos tokens and scenario. It's very likely there will be enough tokens and scenarios around for use during the event however we just want to make sure everyone is covered. Your own cards/deck is a must!

This event has a maximum of 20 spaces

Each participant will receive a token bag with an Arkham based logo and 3x health/sanity dials from among the core classes of the game.

When playing a standalone game (i.e., playing a single scenario as a one-off adventure, removed from its campaign), the following rules apply:
= When building a deck for a standalone game, an investigator may use higher level cards in his or her deck (so long as they observe the deckbuilding restrictions of the investigator) by counting the total experience of all the higher level cards used in the deck, and taking additional random basic weaknesses based on the following table:
0-9 experience: 0 additional random basic weaknesses
10-19 experience: 1 additional random basic weakness
20-29 experience: 2 additional random basic weaknesses
30-39 experience: 3 additional random basic weaknesses
40-49 experience: 4 additional random basic weaknesses
A player cannot include 50 or more experience worth of cards in a standalone deck.
Cards such as the 'Strange Solution (IDENTIFIED)' may also be included for these scenarios.
We would also encourage players to adhere to the rules of TABOO, Mutated and Chained/Unchained cards. See link below for the full list of FAQ's and list of affected cards.
