Welcome to the Dice Saloon Warhammer 40K League Season 1!
Organisation
The season will last from January 1st until February 26th, a total of 8 weeks, and players will have that period of time to play everyone in their bracket. (Round Robin)
Players who sign up will be put into pods based on their self evaluated skill level and desired point bracket. Each pod will consist of 6 players.
At the end of the season the top two players of a pod move up a pod and the bottom two will move down a pod.
All players must play each other player in their pod once during the season.
The Armies
Top 2 Pods Players entering into the top 2 pods must write a master list consisting of 2000 points as unit entries - these are the units you are able to use throughout the league.
When playing games, players create a list of up to 1750 from their master to play each game. Players in these pods are able to use up to two codex's.
Other 4 Pods Players entering into the other 4 pods must write a master list consisting of 1500 points as unit entries - these are the units you are able to use throughout the league. When playing games, players create a list of up to 1250 from their master list to play each game.
Players in these pods are able to use one codex.
Additional information:
Games are free to play 12-4pm weekdays but please make sure you let staff know it's a league game that you are playing. We ask people not to abuse this and to only use these free times to play league games.
Season 1 is 8 weeks long and will last from Jan 1st - Feb 26th.
On the final day of the league - the 29th of February there will be a final free play day with prizes focusing on fun and the hobby as well as your position in the league.
The final day will be capped off with a group trip to the pub, once all games are concluded and prizes are distributed, to celebrate the end of season!
Feedback forms will be sent out at the end of season 1 and season 2 will start after feedback.Please Note: Refunds can only be issued on tickets up to 14 days before the event.
