2-5 players - 2 March

Final Girl is an incredible indie RPG which has players create a plethora of characters before taking turns as the killer, picking them off. It’s fairly tongue in cheek, but lets you grow close to these characters before destroying them. This makes it the perfect game to hack into a dating elimination show.

Final Girl: The Game of Love has players make a dozen contestants, all joining the bachelor or bachelorette on several rounds of solo dates or group events, trying to impress them with wild stunts and outlandish declarations, trying not to be the person eliminated.

Game Details
This game is short and sweet, using a deck of cards for mechanics, index cards and faceclaims for character creation. We’ll make the whole show and put the characters through the wringer in a four hour period. This is a rare game that can run short if the bachelor/bachelorette is particularly merciless, so on the off chance that happens, I’ll be bringing For the Queen and Goose of Grillner Grove for some post-show fun.

This game’s about as intense as any reality dating show, but I’ll have an X card and we’ll edit out anything that makes anyone uncomfortable as no game is more important than the players.

You don’t need to bring anything along, just a general sense of fun and chaos for our poor contestants!

Your Host
I’m Charlie Etheridge-Nunn, indie RPG and board game reviewer for Who Dares Rolls, comic writer and I’ve not seen any dating shows since Blind Date, so I’ve no idea what to expect from folks, but I’m sure it’ll be great fun!
