Supernatural politics
Inspired by urban fantasy media such as Angel, Supernatural and Dresden Files, Urban Shadows is a Powered by the Apocalypse game where you participate in the supernatural power struggle. You get to be a creature of the night, a wild creature from the beyond, an individual who has gained enormous power, or a mortal who is just in too deep. Although there will be action, the main focus would be your ties and connections, and debts owed between the characters and factions of the city.
Game Details
You don’t need to know anything about the system ahead of time, or about roleplaying games at all! We’re completely newbie friendly!
I’ll be providing playbooks, dice, pens, pencils and paper. If you want to bring dice of your own, the game only needs 2d6.
No game is more important than the players, and we will use safety tools (X Card, Lines & Veils, Open Door) to make sure everyone’s in a good place, even when the story gets to some dark places. If you don’t already know them that’s fine, I’ll brief you before we begin.
