3-5 Players

It’s February, so it’s time to play some roleplaying games about romance, and in this case, melodrama!

Pasión de las Pasiones is a roleplaying game about telenovelas, throwing things, looking pensively, riding into a courtroom on a horse, being betrayed by your evil twin, and more! We play as if we’re an episode into a telenovela. The scenario we’ll be playing is La Perla de la Bahia.

It takes place at La Perla de la Bahia casino, the latest opening of the devastatingly rich Espina family. The opening of La Perla has caught the attention of wealthy gamblers and travelers of all kinds with blindingly bright lights, star studded shows and luscious velvet every way you turn. The casino floor is always busy and loud, but back corners and abandoned service hallways are easy enough to duck down.
But of course, one doesn’t get to the wealth and power of the Espina family without making enemies and everyone wants a shot at the biggest prizes.

Are you going to play the dashing hunk, the sinister boss, the beautiful ingénue, controlling matriarch or the evil twin for any of the roles?

Game Details
This game is Powered by the Apocalypse, but don’t worry if you don’t know what that means as I’ll be teaching you the details when we play. If you want to bring 2d6 and your best dramatic pose to camera, that’s fine.

This is a game which dials every emotion up to eleven, and we’ll be using safety tools like the X Card to make sure everyone’s cool and nothing we do loses our telenovela its advertisers!

Your MC
I’m Charlie Etheridge-Nunn, indie RPG and board game reviewer for Who Dares Rolls, comic writer and regular Dice Saloon GM.
