Trainers can look forward to collecting Pokémon VMAX cards like Snorlax VMAX and Lapras VMAX—both in their Gigantamax forms—in the new Sword & Shield expansion! Available in booster packs, theme decks, Elite Trainer Boxes, and special collections, Sword & Shield introduces more than 50 Pokémon from the Galar region, including Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon, Galarian forms like Galarian Ponyta, as well as the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta as Pokémon V. Key cards from the set include:

Pre-release events make for the perfect introduction to the Pokemon TCG, and allow players to receive and play with cards from the upcoming expansion up to two weeks before the official release date!
Each player receives a Pre-release box containing a 22-card Evolution pack, four 10-card booster packs, and an exclusive foil promo card. The Evolution pack provides a solid foundation which, along with the booster packs and Energy provided by the Tournament Organizer, is used to construct a 40-card deck to play with in the prerelease tournament.
Note Regardless of placing in the casual tournament, every player will receive three more booster packs after the matches are complete.Please Note: Refunds can only be issued on tickets up to 14 days before the event.
