While mapping an unexplored region of space, an unidentified object approaches your fleet at light speed, but it slows down as it nears your ships. As you attempt to move away from it, it follows your every move and won’t let you escape. You determine that it is a space buoy and quickly learn that it is emitting a radiation that is harmful to your ships. You must find a way to escape it or destroy it.

Suddenly, you are set upon by an enemy fleet. The enemy ships seem to have the same problems with the buoy. Will your fleet survive the deadly radiation as well as the attacks from the enemy fleet?

This event is a standalone OP, consisting of three games lasting 1 hour each. There are 2 prize ships available which will be awarded to first and second place, and a participation resource for all entrants.

Each player should bring a list of no more then 130 points which includes at least 3 ships each with a 50pt cap. This follows the Wizkids tournament FAQ and the exceptions listed there. If a player fields an oversized cube or the Nor class space station, they can ignore the 3-ship rule and can spend more than 50pts on the oversized ship only.

One amendment has been made to the rules pack to make the mission more challenging; the Space Buoy cannot be damaged or destroyed in the first turn.

In addition, the following house rules will be in effect:

1) All lists should be faction-pure; your chosen ships must be from one faction and those ships can only use upgrades from that ship's listed faction(s). The only exception to this will be if a card specifically allows you to select an upgrade from another faction.

2) Each Shuttle craft or Fighter Squadron must have a capital ship of at least 4 Hull to accompany them. Shuttles and Squadrons will count as a ship for the 50/3 rule, but they still each require an accompanying capital ship.

3) The generic oversized Borg cube will cost 50pts, and Cube 112 costs 52pts.

4) All resources that are currently active (i.e. not outdated by the Wizkidz 'retirement' schedule up to and including Emergency Force Field) may be used, following the usual restrictions. The full list is available here: http://wizkids.com/attackwing/star-trek-attack-wing-rules-for-tournaments/

5) Klingon & Romulan Cloaked Mines are immediately removed from play after they have detonated once.

6) The range 2 restriction will be ignored for Borg 360 degree weaponry.

7) The most up-to-date Wizkids Attack Wing FAQ and tournament FAQ (updated May 2016) will be used. Please familiarise yourself with these before the event to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Please Note: Refunds can only be issued on tickets up to 14 days before the event.
