2-4 players. 6 July 2022

Buried wealth rests with buried nobles. Queen Banmuir’s cairn lies in Kairmough Castle, nestled in the mist-shrouded moors of the Black Mountains. News has reached your ears that a wildfire has caused most residents of the castle and the village at the foot of the mountains to take refuge elsewhere. You are prepared to slip in as soon as it’s safe (even sooner, really), to plunder the unguarded wealth of Kairmough and ride away before the locals return. You’ve heard the stories of the shrieking heard on the moors but that can’t have anything to do with Kairmough, can it? It doesn’t matter. What matters is the gold and jewels just ripe for the taking.

Game Details
Trophy Gold is a roleplaying game about a group of treasure hunters entering the haunted and forgotten places of the world. Your obsessive drive will push you to seek out ever greater riches in a desperate bid to stay alive.

Like Trophy Dark, this is a collaborative game about dark, weird places, but it adds a ‘push your luck’ approach as you pry loose floorboards, crack vaults, make your way past weird monsters and trap-filled hallways.

You’ll need some six-sided dice in two different colours, ‘light’ and ‘dark’ as well as some tokens. I’ll be bringing a lot of them, so if you don’t have any, that’s fine.

We’ll be using safety tools to make sure that the game is enjoyable, no matter how dark things get. The default Content Warnings for this story are: body horror, burning, graphic violence, harm to animals, harm to children.
