“This is where it ends.
With blood and pain and revenge. But it began with love.
This is how everything begins and this is how everything ends.” - The Great and Terrible Life of Shara Yvarai

A fantasy game of intrigue, love and murder.

The ven were a race who lived on the Earth before humans. Slaves to cruel sorecerer-kings, they schemed and eventually overthrew them. Now they live in the ruins of their former masters and make use of magic which they do not fully understand.

This is a Blood Opera. A tale of love and revenge. The ven grew powerful after destroying their masters, but they are in decline and desperate to keep a hold on any power they still have. Will you be strong Bear, beautiful Fox, cunning Elk, poisonous Serpent, bladed Wolf or perceptive Falcon? Whatever house you pick will give you powers, but also blind spots your friends may seek to stick a knife into. After all, no matter what, the ven are a doomed people, and whether it’s now or in a hundred years, it will all end in blood.

Game Details
Houses of the Blooded is a high fantasy game in a weird world where war is illegal and murder is… frowned upon. It’ll use pools of six-sided dice and tokens for Fate. I’ll be bringing enough for everyone and character sheets for people to build characters with. You can bring your own if you want, but it’s not required.

In the session you’ll create your characters, your homeland and run through an adventure. If there’s time, we’ll run through a ‘season’ phase to show you how keeping your estates works.

This is a game with extremely high likelihood of PvP and duels to the death between players. That’s fine, but we’ll be using safety tools and checking in to make sure that if people are backstabbing one another, we’re all good with it and the drama that ensues.
