We are pleased to announce the next Dice Saloon Star Wars Destiny: Store Championship
Tournament
The event takes place Sunday, July 23rd, 2017

Destiny is one of the fastest growing collectable games at Dice Saloon and we want to
support our community with Official Organised Play tournaments.
This tournament will be a “Relaxed Tier” tournament.
Tournaments at this level are welcoming to all players, regardless of experience level.
Players are encouraged to help each other improve and learn, so long as it does not
significantly disrupt the game. The focus is on creating a fun and friendly environment

Players are responsible for bringing all of the game components they need to play a game of
Star Wars: Destiny. This includes all cards, sleeves, dice, and tokens. They should make
sure that they have a legal deck.
Each player must build one team of characters and a deck to use in a tournament.
A team of characters must include at least one character and cannot exceed 30 points,
though it may contain fewer than 30 points.
A player may choose to field heroes or villains, but cannot have both on his or her team.
Each deck must contain exactly 30 cards.
Each player must also select exactly one battlefield.
Players must use the same team, deck, and battlefield for the duration of the tournament.
Decklists ARE required for the event and must be handed in at least fifteen minutes before the
tournament begins. Ensure you have counters and your full complement of dice available to you
before you set out to us!
Tournament Format: 35-minutes swiss, best-of-one matches.
The number of rounds will depend on the number of participants.
If we have enough players, there will be a top cut for this event.
Matches in the cut are Single Elimination, Best-of-Three rounds (except Final): 90 Minutes
each.
Final Single elimination, Best-of-Three Round: 120 Minutes

● Top 32 – An alternate art version of the upgrade card The Best Defense. By advancing
with little regard to your trooper’s health, you can pressure your opponent and keep them
on their back foot.
● Top 8 – A deckbox showcasing the First Order and its legions of Stormtroopers.
● Top 4 – A playmat featuring Captain Phasma, a ruthless and efficient commander of the
First Order.
● Top 2 – An extended art, plastic, spot-glossed Captain Phasma, Elite Trooper card.
● First Place – A printed art plaque to commemorate your victory and a first-round bye
card that is valid at any 2017 or 2018 Star Wars: Destiny Regional Championship!

Dice Saloon is 7 Mins walk from the rear exit of the station.
Nearest bus stop is Preston Circus (Stops X and H) serviced by the following routes: 5, 5A,
5B, 55, 56 and others.

Food and Drink details
Dice Saloon’s cafe carries a range of drinks, snacks, sandwiches and other refreshments.
We ask that no outside food and drink be brought into the building. Any dietary
requirements? Please inform us and we can make exceptions.

There is plenty of parking spaces nearby (though at a cost)
The Vantage Point car park is available all day at £1.50/hr
The London Road car park is a 5 minute walk away at more reasonable prices (Check the
Brighton & Hove website for details)
