X-Wing Extended Event Tournament Ticket

The Dice Saloon is proud to announce our next X-Wing Tournament - Saturday, March 19, starting at 10am

This tournament will be a “Relaxed Tier” tournament.

Tournaments at this level are welcoming to all players, regardless of experience level.

Players are encouraged to help each other improve and learn, so long as it does not significantly disrupt the game.

The focus is on creating a fun and friendly environment

The standard tournament scoring system will be used.

Any game ending in a draw will be determined using the new Final Salvo rule.

We will be doing Swiss rounds (number of rounds determined by amount of players) with no top cut. 

We are limiting the event to 24 players.

We will be using Tabletop TO to run the event, and we request that you register your list beforehand. The link will be in the event page closer to the event date.

Should you not wish to register your list, please bring two copies of your squad. One for the TO and another for your opponent.

Squads must contain no more than 200 squad points and conform to all of the rules laid down in the core rulebook, FAQ and tournament rules PDF.

Players will also require all tokens, templates and cards they will need during the day. Proxies are not allowed.

This event will be comprised of 75-minute rounds of swiss pairing.

Never played X-Wing before but want to give it a go? There is a regular X-Wing evening in-store every Tuesday night from 18:00 and we will be more than happy to teach you how to play.

The expected schedule for this event is as follows:

10:00 - 10:30 Sign in.

10:45 - 11:00 Announcement of 1st round pairings and set up time.

11:00 Round 1 starts 

Break for lunch after round 2

Brighton Train station is very well serviced from London Victoria and Clapham Junction - Dice Saloon is 7 Mins walk from the rear exit of the station.

The nearest bus stop is Preston Circus (Stop H) or York Hill (Stop D) serviced by the following routes: 5, 5A, 5B, 55 and others.

Dice Saloon’s cafe carries a range of drinks, snacks, sandwiches and other refreshments.

We ask that no outside food and drink be brought into the building. Any dietary requirements? Please inform us and we can make exceptions.

There is plenty of parking spaces nearby (though at a cost)

The Vantage Point car park is available all day at ~£2/hr

The London Road car park is a 2-minute walk away at more reasonable prices (Check the Brighton & Hove website for details)
