Star Wars: X-Wing - Tie Fighter Expansion Pack

With the distinct ball-shaped cockpit and hexagonal wings, the Tie Fighter is an unmistakable design, and one which has been etched firmly into the minds of movie-goers worldwide for generations.  

Manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems, TIE Fighters are powered by a twin ion engine which allows them to accelorate at great speed, while maintaining incredibly manouverability - they lack a hyperdrive, life support, or shield generator systems, but these fragile fighters are usually fielded in large numbers in order to attack larger targets. 

 

Pilots are subjected to rigorous training - both physical and psycological - in order to test their alleigence to Emperor Palpatine and the Empire
